Experience Summary
While waiting for a teaching position, I worked at a university's Disability Resource Center. Here I interpreted for classes, provide testing accommodations for student who qualified for our services and assisted in registering students for our services. I left after I found a teaching job. Since then, I have been teaching deaf/hard of hearing and special education students with various and multiple disabilities ages 3-21 for 7 years. I tutor younger and adult students in a variety of topics also. I have volunteered at Special Olympics as an interpreter, assisting the athletes with their sport, and registration/floater. You can email me at tneetzy@aol.com if you need a tutor.
Teaching Style
I am very strict when it comes to teaching, however I make learning fun. I address each topic with a learning style(s) best appropriate to the student's needs. I also make the lesson meaningful to the student so that they can better understand and internalize the content.
