About Me

Experience Summary

I am an eighteen year old female with with a High School Diploma and one year of University behind me. I graduated High School before I was seventeen and a half, one semester early when I was already a young student for my year. As a young teen, I was always a tutor to my friends and was willing and excited to help anyone with any academic difficulties. With time, I took tutoring more seriously and began to be a voluntary math tutor for the Math Department where I was enrolled, Community High School. I did this in my only semester of my senior year and tutored underclassman in everywhere from Pre-Algebra to Calculus I, though I was currently enrolled in Calculus I. I also was a Student Teacher for French I/II in my last semester of high school and that really deepened the depths of my skills in speaking, writing, and reading French. In every class, I am the one to finish first, correctly, and begin to offer every other student my knowledge. After two semesters of college, one at Washtenaw Community College and one at University of Pittsburgh, I have complete French II and III and Calculus I and II as well as Linear Algebra. I consider myself at expert at lower levels of French and Math and am passionate about sharing it with others and clarifying subjects to those who see them as confusing. I have also been trained in tap dancing for eight years and am very willing to teach beginning tap to anyone interested!

Teaching Style

I am most experienced with young high school students but am willing to teach younger as well as older if the student feels I am qualified. I am very relaxed, yet organized: open, yet serious. Generally, I am very flexible to any student's learning style and will change my techniques to fit each accordingly.

Other Comments

I graduated high school one semester early, at age seventeen, with a 3.89 and started school at Washtenaw Community College before I had even finished at Community High School. I scored a 31 overall on the ACT: a 33 in Math. I have volunteered in Art Presentation, at The Kerrytown Book Fair, and was a proud member of Community High School's branch of the National Honor Society. I was trained in tap, jazz, ballet and hip-hop for eight years. I am very passionate about learning and would love to help you or your child!
