Experience Summary
I have over 20 years teaching adults in various disciplines, especially math. I have worked for Education Service Center Region 20 for over 17 years teaching G.E.D. and to improve students' college entrance math scores. I have a MS in Public Administration and a BA in Political Science both from St. Mary's University. My expertise is in teaching students with developmental math skills deficiencies.
Teaching Style
I have found that many students are lacking developmental math skills; such as fractions, decimals, and percents. Performing Algebra and Geometry requires a student who has a strong understanding of fractions, decimals, and percents. Also, young students have poor memory skils and it is required that they utilize this skill to enhance their math skills.
