Experience Summary
During my training at Union University, I was hired in the Hundley Center as a Tutor in Math, Physics, and Engineering subjects. Through tout my experience in tutoring inside and outside Union (private home tutoring) I was successful in bringing my students grades from C to A in just few sessions. I enjoyed assisting others in better understanding scientific subjects. Almost all my students continue their record of A's as well as loving the subject.
Arabic is my mother tongue, and I was always the first in my classes in the various Arabic subjects. I master proper pronunciation and rely on the precise/eloquent poetry heritage in the Arabic culture. Needless to say, if you master that poetry, you've pretty much mastered a lot of the language, since most other forms are sort of the children of precise poetry.
Teaching Style
My approach relies on developing the ability of the student to "store" the fundamentals of the subject (without projecting much of my own style of problem solving techniques). In other words, I equip my students with the tools, while at the same time help them discover their ability to be creative and efficient in using these tools. Having been trained in a French system during high school years, I know very well how to deter the fear from seemingly complex subjects, or seemingly too much information.
