Experience Summary
I'm a college student, but I have extensive training and knowledge in the subjects I've chosen to tutor particularly because I graduated from an extremely good high school - Sharon High School. The school has won the Blue Ribbon (a prestigious award given to the best high school in the country) and has been named the 7th best high school in Massachusetts. I'm also furthering my knowledge on those subjects in college, where I'm currently majoring in Biology and Public Health. (I'm also on the pre-medicine track, so I'm knowledgeable in topics such as Chemistry and Biology.) I'm a fast typer and am also well versed in various aspects of English (such as spelling, grammar, and reading comprehension). I was named Student of the Term in high school for several years in a row, have made the Dean's List twice (which requires a minimum of 3.5 GPA), and am also a member of NSCS (National Society of Collegiate Scholars). The invitation is only given to the top 10% of students at particular universities.
Teaching Style
I don't have any particular teaching style. I'm very patient and understanding, and I tailor my teaching to how the student best learns. I also find that examples help a lot, so after teaching a new topic, I try to give an example right away to enforce the idea.
My Hobbies
I love to do a variety of things. I love art (especially painting), reading, and playing "brain games." I'm a running addict and exercise whenever I can. I also love horror movies, sleeping in, and playing board games! I'm also a daredevil so I try to do crazy things whenever I get the chance (ex: skydiving!!)
