| I am an experienced language teacher and a native Arabic speaker with an extremely strong command of both Modern Standard Arabic and Classical Arabic. I have a Bachelor's and a Master's in English literature, so in addition to my fluency in Arabic, I will be able to explain all of the concepts and make them accessible in English. I'm from Tunisia, and so I can also teach dialect (Tunisian or Egyptian), if desired. I taught English in a high school in Tunisia for the past two years, and so I am extremely proficient in language pedagogy for any level of language learning. I love teaching, and love my language; I would be thrilled to work with a student of any level.
I can tutor all levels of Modern Standard Arabic or Classical, as well as the Tunisian and Egyptian dialects. For the first two lessons, I'll only charge $20/hour; try me out as a tutor, and see if my style is what you're looking for. After that, I charge $30/hour. I can meet you in Hyde Park or in downtown Chicago.
