Experience Summary
I have been assisting dance for the past 9 years and I absolutely love doing it.
I was a tutor for a classmate in college last semester and I met with him twice a week to go over the work.
I also was the go to person in high school whenever someone needed help with their Math homework.
In cheer I was the Co-Captain my Junior year and the Captain my Senior year. I was very easy going during the practices and I would teach the cheers to my squad and I would assure they knew them by the time the games came and if they didn't we would go over them until they did.
Teaching Style
In dance I am very thorough. I assure that my students acquire the knowledge that they must have for their age group. I am easy going and very easy to talk to. If I notice that someone if falling behind I will stop the class and go over the step again until I believe that they have it.
In math I go by an example method rather than me just do the work and talk. I will give them an example where I complete the problem then I will work through the problem slowly with them to assure they understand and know how to do it.
My Hobbies
I like to dance, cheer, babysit, do math, do crosswords and any other type of logic puzzles.
