Experience Summary
I have experience tutoring algebra and math on the college level. I have also tutored for standardized tests and am excellent with test preparation for the ACT. When I took the ACT, I took practice tests and was able to accurately predict what my actual score would be. I took the ACT once and made a 27.
Teaching Style
When teaching math, I work directly with my student on the topic they are covering in class. We review homework and redo problems that are incorrect. Each time we redo a problem, we identify where the error was made and the journey the student is taking to arrive at the answer.
For other subjects, such as psychology and technology, we create scenarios of potential real life encounters.
