Experience Summary
I am an Elementary Teacher working with students with special needs. I have 13 years of experience working with students in grades K-12. Teaching reading strategies, math strategies,and test taking strategies is my specialty. I have proctored state assessments at various grade levels. Also, I have 10 years of tutoring experience with students in grades K-8. The subjects I have taught as well as tutored are math, reading, science, social studies, writing, test taking skills and homework assistance.
Teaching Style
I use differentiated teaching styles according to my students' learning preferences. I believe in using hands-on activities and manipulatives to assist in learning. I incorporated technology into my teaching as well.
My Hobbies
I enjoy reading, walking, kayaking, and swimming.
