Experience Summary
As a teacher I have taught over seas in Japan's public and private school systems. From pre-school to adult level English as a Foreign Language classes. When I returned to the United States I volunteered as a teacher for the Dayton ESL program. In addition to my official achievements, I have been teaching family friend's children the basics of the American educational system. I have taught all ages from 2 years old to 87 years of age. Currently, I am teaching computer basics to an ESL student. PLEASE EMAIL ME DIRECTLY bigheartsbigminds@gmail.com
Teaching Style
I have a very interactive teaching style. I like for my students to be up and moving around, experiencing the knowledge. I am very patient with students who may not learn as fast as others. I am always creating new ways to help students learn. Whether that includes going outside and playing a vocabulary baseball game or sitting next to them while they study to answer questions.
