Experience Summary
Since 1985 I have had the sincere pleasure of being an educator in Arizona. My first several years I worked with 3rd graders, 4th graders and 5th graders in the Pendergast School District. I then moved to the Peoria Unified School District to teach 5th, 6th and 7th grade students. Eventually, my husband and I moved to Surprise and I began working in the charter school system. I began my career in the charter schools teaching junior high/middle year's language arts and reading. I school became and International Bacalaureate Middle Year's program in 2009 and my primary responsibilities become running that program and the gifted program.
Teaching Style
My style is easy going with high expectations. I am firm, but friendly. I set the bar high and use many gifted strategies when teaching, because gifted ed. is good for all kids.
