Experience Summary
I have tutored friens, family, and classmates. I have always done well in math classes in elementary, middle school, high school, and college. Throughout all of those levels of school, I usually was the first or second person to finish an examination. I really like math alot because it is simple and to the point. In math there is typically only one answer to the problem. There is no ambiguity! This is the part that I loved so much. I consider myslf to be a problem solver and enjoy working well with others. That is why I love math so much but I also loved psychology for similiar reasons. As you can imagine, it wasn't an easy choice when it was time to select a major for college. i have no regrets because now I get to help my 9-year old son. He attends a magnet school and he is in fourth grade. He is a straight-A student in school and he loves math also. So as you can see this is truly in my blood. Teaching Style
I like to break math down in a simple way at times using life analagies to get the student to understand and relate better to the subject matter.
