Experience Summary
Native French speaker, I have recently graduated from the University of Nebraska with bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and Mathematics, both obtained with the highest distinctions. While acquiring the aforementioned degrees, I have tutored a tremendous amount of students in Mathematics, Civil Engineering, and French. This 3-year experience is preceded by my being a Mathematics/French Tutor for 2 years at Metropolitan Community College where I was obtaining my Associate’s Degree in Pre-Civil Engineering and Mathematics. Furthermore, I have been a Tutor with Advanced Learners for 4 years now and have worked extensively with clients in the State of Nebraska.
Teaching Style
Even though I have never taught as a certified teacher, my teaching style has been a preeminent tool which had braced my tutoring skills. Indeed, my teaching methodology encompasses ineffable patience, great serenity, exceptional aptitude to break down complex concepts into their infinitesimal aspects and ability to choose a solution pattern that best suits the student, taking into account a rigorous implementation of international rules upon which academicians have concurred. Not only do I believe there is no standard teaching style compatible with every tutee, but I strongly claim an efficient teaching style should be contingent upon the major needs of the student as well. Furthermore, I firmly contend students learn best when theories are related to real-world problems. My ultimate aim is to awaken the latent genius inherent in every student as to redeem his or her academic performances.
