Experience Summary
I have 5 years experience in tutoring. I also taught CPR and First Aid to groups for 14 years for the American Red Cross. I just completed my Masters degree, so I have extensive knowledge in writing research papers, English composition, grammar, spelling, annotated bibliographies, and reference pages. I am proficient in composition and writing. English and writing are my strongest skills, but I also tutor general math, pre-algebra, and algebra 1. I also have extensive knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, medical abbreviations, transcribing doctor's orders, and medical coding.
Teaching Style
I am quite easy-going, as long as the student wishes to learn. I am a very patient person, and do not mind having to go over topics several times, if needed.
My Hobbies
Reading, gardening, animal rescue.
