Teaching Style
I believe in tutoring so that the child receives feedback and fully understands his/her own limitations and how to overcome obstacles in class. Many children lack positivity in the methodology!
I also believe that using art instruction helps children to learn in a more creative manner.
My Hobbies
I am an avid reader and am also a master/professional craftsperson. I excel in all areas of the needlearts: knitting, crochet, embroidery and even sewing. I am also interested in gourmet cooking.

In 30 years I have tutored over 100 students and many of my students have gone on to pursue their college educations, including Ph.Ds.
My business background includes that of an executive secretary and an office manager. I also currently teach art throughout the NOVA area, and am a qualified crafts instructor, as well.
