Experience Summary
I have loved languages all my life. I hold a BA in French and a MA in Translation, both from the University of Puerto Rico. I currently hold a temporary teaching certificate from the State of Florida. I teach Spanish in a High School and I teach English writing and grammar for ELL students at Edison College in Fort Myers, Florida.
I enjoy teaching both adults and children and I have experience teaching Spanish, French, and English at different educational levels.
Teaching Style
I love languages and my passion is to make it easier for my students. I understand that sometimes learning a foreign language could be intimidating, and I like for my students to feel comfortable with me. I believe in providing cultural experiences for my students. I always include hands-on activities to make my classes interesting for my students. I truly believe that once the student take ownership of this new language, it is not foreign anymore.
