Experience Summary
I consider myself to be a life long learner. I am eager to learn and attend professional development regularly. I hold a Masters degree in Education. As a certified Reading Specialist, I have a lot of training in several reading intervention programs. I am certified in the Wilson Reading System. During the last 12 years I have taught students in grades K-8 in reading, English as a Second Language, math, and language arts.
Teaching Style
I love teaching children. It is my desire to instll a love of learning and reading in all students. It is my goal to make sure all students are equpped withte skills to be the best they can be. I enjoy working one-on-one with studens and realize the benefits of this approach. I have a passion for reading and am very interested in helping students that have difficuly with reading.
