Experience Summary
My background knowledge of speech and language has helped me as an educator in my classroom. I can spot out students having difficulty immediatley and give them the extra help they need to master a skill. I can efficiently change my teaching style to accommodate all learning styles. By teaching kindergarten, third grade, and speech & language it has given me a varying range of teaching experiences.
Teaching Style
I like to incorporate real world experience as well as hands on teaching. My style of teaching depends on the class I have. I incorporate whole group and small group using many visuals. I also do read and respond with my classroom. For my auditory learners I use cassette tapes and reread instructions and stories. These are just some of the basic things I do in my classroom.
