Experience Summary
I have received my Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Seton Hill Univeristy and I have experience in the general education classroom and Autistic support classroom.
At the present time, I am teaching in a life skills classroom with students who have Autism. This position enables me to provide these students with the skills they will need to transition to independent living and employment. I am challenged to be creative, nurturing, and patient.
Teaching Style
I have designed a classroom that supports these students in learning basic living skills, workshop skills, social skills, as well as, working on behavior goals. I have created IEP goals to match the needs of each student and I continually strive to ensure they succeed.
