Experience Summary
For the past two years, I have worked for a fast-paced software development company. I have learned about many new technologies and have proven to be a very good student. Prior to my experience as an IT Administrator, I was an undergraduate research technician at the University of Washington. I had received two prestigious research grants -- EIP/McNair Presidential Scholar and the Howard Hughes Medical Institute Internship. These awards allowed me to conduct my own research regarding gene flow amongst wild capsicum species found only in Bolivia. I have no recent experience as a teacher or tutor.
Teaching Style
From my previous work experience, I have had the privilege of assisting others utilize the power of technology to help them achieve their goals. As an IT Administrator, I would present creative software solutions to our end-user by using tools that they already possessed. In my spare time, I have helped fellow co-workers with their college assignments, which included math and written assignments. I have been found to be an excellent resource for sharing ideas and being able to provide constructive criticism. I have also shown others how to systematically work through difficult problems by starting with our current knowledge base.
