Experience Summary
As a first generation immigrant, I have sharply experienced just how important proper communication skills are. Language, spoken and written are one of the most important parts of building those skills for young people, for success in both carreer and social life. I strongly believe that my own experience with constant learning and improving my language abilities helps me in better understanding of the learning process of others.
Multiple personality assesments as well as my self-evaluation state me as a leader type indiavidual, competitive, influential, however also supportive and attentive as well.
As a non paid experience I have been the helping hand for my friends struggling with their paper, proof reading and restructuring their writting during both highschool and college.
As a college freshman I held a tutoring position with Academic Success Center at the University of Indianapolis. I found working in this field extremely rewarding and would love having an opportunity to do that again.
Teaching Style
It is in my character to be a natural care giver. I enjoy helping others. I am competitive. I am deternimed to succeed and help the success of others. I am very patient and do not mind being repetitive if necessary. I am good at detailed expanations and very sensitive on whether or not the student actually understands the concept. Depending on the students learning type I use different teaching strategies and various lesson plans, according to the level of concentration, comprehension skills, and motivation.
