Experience Summary
As a Masters student pursuing a profession as a Criminology professor, I possess a strong desire to help students at all levels achieve high academic goals. In addition to my desire to teach, I have superior abilities to write and research due to numerous research projects and papers.
Teaching Style
When I become a professor, I am going to make sure that in each and every student I encounter that I instill the belief that no matter what background they have, all of their professional goals are possible. I come from a family with very little formal education, and I have been able through hard work and dilligence progress through all degree programs very well. I had a handful of professors in college that took a stance of sticking to your goals and not letting a few obstacles hinder your progress. Having inspired me to continue even during difficult times, I feel that taking the same approach to younger students can prepare them even better for future educational endeavors.
