Experience Summary
Currently I am a kindergarten teacher at a local charter school. This will be my fourth year as a teacher, and I love it! I could not imagine doing anything else with my life. I have had one year of experience tutoring for FCAT prep for 3-5th graders. I earned a bachelor degree in Interdisiplinary Studies. I had the opportunity to learn about many different fields of study while completing that degree. Recently, I have completed course work towards a Masters of Professional Studies in Education degree.
Teaching Style
Working with children is what I do best! I know that every child is capable of learning when given the appropriate learning environment. Every child is different and needs to be treated as an individual. In my classroom of 18 kindergarten students, I provide a wide range of activities that enrich, enhance, and provide on level and remediation work. My goal is to provide each child with quality education. As a tutor, I would strive to do the same. I would develop activities that met the individual students needs and create a love of learning.
