Experience Summary
I have been pursuing my engineering degrees for 10 years, which began with prerequisites from a community college and ended with a PhD in a top-ten department of Materials Science in the country. I know what it takes to study and learn the knowledge that is being taught in a class. After all, I have taken my fair share of them. I have been student, teacher, and tutor, so I have a breadth of experience that gives me the insight to give each individual the attention they require.
Teaching Style
I give students respect and try to be attentive to their needs. I familiarize myself with their strengths and weaknesses for the subject so that I can determine how I can best help them. I write down every step as I explain the answers, so they learn the mechanisms of problem solving for each class. They can take these lessons for further reference on how to learn other new problems. Also, I oversee their work to make sure they are making progress in preparation of their tests. I have a good system to oversee they learn the right skills to complete their work well.
