Experience Summary
I started tutoring thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and statics in college. My BS in mechanical engineering has required me to get a firm understanding of calculus and physics - two traditionally very difficult subjects.
Teaching Style
I have an ability to communicate the complex theories in everyday language that makes me a very effective tutor. It is great when someone starts to understand the theory of their subject and then continue to more complicated things. The key to tutoring is to understand the frustration and embarrassment someone feels when they do not understand something and overcome this with a friendly, straight-forward approach.
