Experience Summary
As a current graduate student (Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering) at the University of Florida, I developed my research and tutoring skills through several volunteer along with knowledge in Math, Physics and Chemistry. I have tutored College Algebra, Calculus, Physics and Chemistry to high school students and College-level students.
Teaching Style
I tutored in the learning center at Valencia community college for one year. Through this work and my education classes I have learned to work with each student as an individual, all students learn differently. I adapt my tutoring style to the student. I like to ask questions to lead them to an answer and use positive reinforcement as much as I can. While I do want my students to learn the material and concepts I also want them to learn study habits and become independent learners. I encourage my students to believe in themselves that they can accomplish in anything If they put their efforts into their works.
