Experience Summary
As a psychology graduate I have a deep desire to help children both academically and socially. Prior to becoming a psychology major I spent two years studying Early Childhood Education. As a result, I am competent not only in the field of psychology, but in education as well. I have tutored elementary aged children in several courses. I have outstanding writing and reading skills. I have excellent communication skills, and know how to talk with children in order to help them succeed.
I worked in a daycare for 4 years. During that time I was both a toddler teacher, and substitute preschool teacher.
Teaching Style
Working with children has always been a passion of mine. Although my BA is in psychology, I also took several courses in Early Childhood Education, including classes such as Reading Development and Elementary Mathematics. I believe that children learn in different ways, and will strive to help your child succeed academically. I am very patient and will work hard to ensure your child fully understands the subject matter.
